The Happy Broken Game was one of my first 2d platform games to be programmed.

Your main objective is to find all the stars hidden around the map to progress.
Secret passages, doors, and chests will be hidden on the map, challenging the player to explore and find them.
Collectables
​
As I mentioned, stars were programmed to allow the player to progress. However, the player cannot progress to other levels until the minimum number of stars required has been collected.
​
The player is also able to collect coins. Although currently there is no usage for them, it allowed me to learn new game feature mechanics such as the save mechanic between scenes.


Environment & Enemies
​
The environment was designed to allow the player to navigate in different directions and find all the starts to progress to achieve the same purpose. However, the player will encounter enemies that will try to stop him from progressing.
